How does equity help depolarize my workforce?

Without a system that fosters the development of an ownership mindset, workers in a company are more likely to try to look out for themselves. In this environment, workers are likely to engage in unhealthy competition against their fellow workers where they try to show that they’re great while others are not.

But when people feel like they're on the same team in a company, they all help out and collaborate with each other. Because if the company wins, then all of them would win.

So if they get into problems or disagreements, they're more likely to think about the disagreements objectively and not take them personally. They would be more likely to collaborate in seeking solutions. They would be more willing to acknowledge the achievements of others instead of taking the credit all for themselves.
